This volume contains invited lectures from eminent scientists and contributions to the EUROGEN 2001-Evolutionary Methods for Design, Optimization and Control with Applications to Industrial Problems” International Conference which was held in Athens, in September 2001. The attained objective of EUROGEN 2001 was to bring together people from Universities,Research Institutes and Industries developing or using Evolutionary Methods.
