ADVANCES IN TURBULENCE IX
ADVANCES IN TURBULENCE IX presents a comprehensive sample of current research being performed world wide on turbulence, with an inevitable bias towards work in Europe. It contains a complete collection of the papers presented inoral or poster form at the EUROMECH Ninth European Conference (ETC-9). The event was organised, under the auspices of the European Mechanics Society (EUROMECH), by the University of Southampton and ICMS ( Index Communications Meeting Services). Topics covered include instabilities & transition, flow control, DNS/LES, geophysical flows, structure vortex dynamics, compressible & reacting flows, transport & mixing, high Reynolds number turbulence & intermittency, two-phase flows and acoustics & turbulence.
