CIMNE participates at CONIA 2016

Two CIMNE researchers have recently participated at CONIA 2016, the VI Congress in Engineering and Architecture organized by the José Simeón Cañas Central American University (UCA). The meeting, entitled “Sustainable Technology Solutions”, has taken place on 5th-6th October, 2016, in San Salvador.

Pooyan Dadvand and Antonia Larese, Assistant Research Professors at CIMNE, were invited to give two plenary lectures. The title of their talks were "Extremely Large Multi-Scale Wind Simulation for Complex Geometries" and "Dam Safety. Numerical Simulation of overtopping in rockfill dams and landslide into the reservoir", respectively.
