CIMNE has been awarded two new projects from the European Commission
CIMNE has been awarded two new projects within the Framework H2020 with a total budget of €1.335.495. The projects are entitled "Engineering, production and life-cycle management for massive application of FIBRE-basedmaterials in large-length SHIPs" (FIBRESHIP) and "Advanced Concepts for Aero-Structures with Integrated Antennas and Sensors" (ACASIAS), both of them from the H2020 subprograme "SC5-Climate action, environment, resource efficiency & raw materials".
FIBRESHIP will be coordinated by TSI and the principal investigator (PI) at CIMNE will be Xavier Martinez. Two different groups of CIMNE will work in the project Julio García, from Naval and Marine Engineering Group, will be the technical manager and Xavier Martinez, from Structural Mechanics Group —Research Line: Computational Modelling of Engineering Materials—, will be the technical manager.
ACASIAS project will be coordinated by NLR and the principal investigator (PI) at CIMNE will be Xavier Martinez. In this project there are also involved two CIMNE groups: the technical management of CIMNE will be in charge of the Pre and Postprocessing Group and its team leader Abel Coll, and Xavier Martínez (Structural Mechanics Group —Research Line: Computational Modelling of Engineering Materials—) will be the technical manager.
