Reduced-order modeling in multiscale simulations

Next CIMNE coffee talk invitation:

Reduced-order modeling in multiscale simulations

Day: Wednesday, October 15th, 2014

At: 17:30h

Place: seminars room 110, 1st floor, C-1 building, Campus Nord UPC

In this occasion JOAQUÍN A. HERNÁNDEZ will invite us to coffee, and talk explain us how RVE equilibrium problem can be solved using the so-called Reduced-Basis (RB) approximations. Generally speaking, the reduced-basis approximation is a class of Galerkin approximation procedure that employs globally supported basis functions.
