Seminar - MUD in pipes, eccentric orbits and interesting facts, by Roberto Flores
Wednesday, December 21st, 2016. Time: 12 p.m.
Place: O.C. Zienkiewicz Conference Room, C1 Building, UPC Campus Nord, Barcelona.
Roberto Flores, Associate Research Professor at CIMNE: "As a structural analyst being asked to talk about my activities at CIMNE, I’m in a strange position. None of my latest lines of work have anything to do with my original background. In particular, I’ll be talking about oil well hydraulics and design of communication satellite orbits for coverage of high-latitude areas. There is some numerical analysis involved, but also (and this is the fun part) interesting physical facts and different accuracy requirements from what you might be used to."
