CIMNE, through its spin-off company Portable Multimedia Solutions, S.L. (PMS), has designed and built for Eurecat a light-weight pavilion of star shape formed by a collection of inflatable tubes that allows 3D sound experiences. This pavilion is the first airtight structure designed and manufactured by PMS. The revolutionary design and construction method eliminates completely air leaks, allowing the structure to remain inflated for several days without any power supply.
Following the initiative of the Technical University of Catalunya (UPC), the pavilion was installed in the SPIN 2016, event dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in universities of Spain and Latin America.

The open meeting, that attracted some 2,000 participants and 100 universities, aimed to awakening, supporting and encouraging entrepreneurial talent and strengthen the University's contribution to economic and social development.
