CIMNE

- The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is a research center, centred on promotion, development and application of numerical methods and high-level computational techniques for solving engineering problems within an international context. It is present in a large number of technology transfer projects, collaborating with near to one hundred and fifty companies and organizations around the world.

Currently CIMNE manages work teams in different engineerign fields such as: Estructural Analysis, Forming Processes, Technology Transfer Services, Composites research and Metal Deposition Processes.

UPC

- The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is a public catalan institution dedicated to the education and research on the fields of engineering, architecture and science. Since 2009 it helds the title of 'Campus of International Excellence'.

As part of this Symposium, UPC has ongoing working groups on Plastics and Composites Technology, Design, Operational and Control of Chemical Processes, Modelling, Design, Analysis and Mechanical Simulation, Applied Statistical Reseach, Robotical AI, Strucutures Research and Mechanics of Materials.

Fundació CIM

- Fundació CIM is an entity attached to UPC dedicated to Technology and Engineering Transfer, és una entitat adscrita a la UPC dedicada a transferir coneixements d’enginyeria, management of technology and tools to help companies and professionals to create and improve their products and manufacturing processes, bringing the reality of business in college. As part of this conference, the Fundació will provide with its group of Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

XaRTAP

- Xarxa de Referència en Tècniques Avançades de Producció (XaRTAP) brings together 11 research groups with over 200 researchers with the aim of helping companies and professionals increase their technological capabilities based on technology transfer to companies. Members of the XaRTAP are distributed in major science and technology centers in Catalunya, such as technology parks and campus at Barcelona, Terrassa, Girona Bellaterra and Castelldefels.

Fundació Bosch i Gimpera

- Fundació Bosch i Gimpera helps to develop the third mission that society asks universities: knowledge transfer and technology. They are pioneers in speeding up the connections between University and new demands and social realities, the link between university, business and society.
