| CV | Xavier Tort graduated from the Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2022 and is currently a second-year student of the Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, all coursed in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. His interests focus on Structural Analysis and Computational Engineering applied in Geotechnical Engineering. For that, he began his career as a Research Engineer in CIMNE to focus on those topics and acquire a precise knowledge of them. As for now, he is currently working in the project named SECCO2. The principal objective of SECCO2 is to build a tool that can assist engineers in the processes of reducing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, in order to limit global warming. Following this line of action, his intention is to become a PhD student in the following years, in order to be an expert of the mentioned fields. |
