| Abstract |
The goals of the SGR in the period will target research activities related to the Scientific Challenges which are being overcome under the Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence (2019-2023) under the grant CEX2018-000797-S:
a) A more competitive industrial sector (MANUFACTURING), b) The enhanced design of transport vehicles (CONSTRUCTION & TRANSPORT), c) A more environmentally-friendly planet (ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY & SECURITY) and d) The increased safety of infrastructures and citizens to hazards (SECURITY). These broad research lines are aligned with the objectives of the Horizon 2020 Program of the European Commission.
Specifically, the SGR aims to provide industry with software tools that will impact:
- The enhanced design of forming manufacturing processes and products.
- the design of aircrafts with improved performance and environmental features.
-the assessment of how natural, technological and human-induced hazards affect the security of constructions and citizens. |
