On October 20th 2020 the Catalonian Research Institute on Cultural Heritage (ICRPC) hosted in their headquarters located in the city of Girona the visit of a delegation formed by Eugenio Oñate, director of CIMNE, Ferran Falcó, Secretary General of the Ministry of Territory and Sustainability of the Catalonian Government, Lluís Rovira, Director of the Network of Research Centers of Catalonia (CERCA), Albert Civit, director of Incasol and Ramon Ribó, Director of the CIMNE spin-off company Scipedia. The visit was chaired by Joaquim Nadal, director of ICRPC, and former Ministry of Territory and Sustainability of the Catalonian Government.
The aim of the visit was to explore the possibilities of cooperation between ICRPC, CIMNE and Scipedia in the development and implementation of digital technologies for storage and dissemination of the Cultural heritage of Catalonia.
The programme included a visit to the beautiful Cathedral of Girona located at close distance from the ICRPC premises.
