On 27th April, 2023, CIMNE attended the Kick-off meeting of X4HPC, a network coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and funded by the Government of Catalonia through AGAUR. X4HPC brings together the most representative scientific institutions, research centers and companies in the field of High-performance Computing (HPC) in Catalonia (University of Barcelona, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Institute for Research in Biomedicine, Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, CIMNE, Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute and the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona), with the aim of to promote technology transfer and the valorization of HPC technologies towards industry and society.

On behalf of CIMNE, the meeting was attended by the Technology Transfer Unit, formed by Jordi Jiménez and Jazmín Ríos, together with the Kratos Multiphysics research group, represented by Riccardo Rossi and Rubén Zorrilla.
