The ERC Council has opened a new call for Advanced and Consolidator grants for senior researchers. There are two different calls with different budgets, but both of them for a period of 5 years. Candidates for Advanced grant are called Principal Investigators, active researchers who have a track-record of significant research achievements in the last 10 years. Consolidator grants are addressed to scientists who want to consolidate their independence by establishing a research team and continuing to develop a success career in Europe.
Applications for the two calls must be submitted by a single Principal Investigator (PI) in conjunction with and on behalf of their Host Institution, called the applicant legal entity. CIMNE is now receiving expressions of interest to manage the submission of joint applications with eligible researchers. The deadline for applications is within the first quarter of the year (different dates depending of the call).
