The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) will participate in the Smart City Expo Congress 2023, which will take place from 7 to 9 November at the Fira de Barcelona. At the event, CENIT Group for Innovation in Multimodal Transport will present its cutting-edge technology for smart urban delivery, and CIMNE spin-off OKO will showcase smart cloud solutions for urban sustainability. In addition, EN-TRACK will demonstrate how its energy efficiency performance tracking platform can create smarter, more energy efficient cities.
Paco Gasparín, from the CENIT Research Group for Innovation in Multimodal Transport, will lead a discussion on how research on Hubs for Last Mile Delivery Solutions (HALLO) can help cities address environmental and traffic challenges by creating shared consolidation and distribution centers for urban delivery. The implementation of the project in municipalities adjacent to Barcelona's Low Emission Zone (LEZ) will be presented.
The HALLO session will take place on Thursday 9 November at 13:15 at the stand of ACCIÓ-Government of Catalonia (stand D60, pavilion 2) at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
CIMNE spin-off OKTICS will be present on stand 100 in hall 2. OKO's exhibit will demonstrate how its innovative platform is transforming urban life through a range of smart urban furniture, technology-driven incident management platforms, and community engagement devices for efficiency and sustainability.
The EN-TRACK energy efficiency performance tracking platform will also be showcased at the Smart City Expo Congress 2023. The EN-TRACK solution enables the comprehensive collection of standardised, real-time data on energy and cost savings in public and private buildings to facilitate increased investment in energy efficiency in Europe's building stock.
A session entitled EN-TRACK: Boosting Smarter Energy Efficiency will take place on 9 November at 11:30 at stand D60, pavilion 2.
