ABSTRACT

This Coffee Talk aims to provide key information and prepare potential participants from CIMNE for the upcoming calls of the Horizon Europe Pillar II Clusters, with the opening of this work program expected in May 2025. The new work program will focus on boosting competitiveness, improving security, sustainability, and strengthening the economic resilience of the EU. In addition, some CIMNE funding opportunities and success rate will be shown. Finally, for your interest, the new repository for in-house publications will also be discussed.

Alba Mingorance holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is an expert in sustainable and innovative technologies. She currently works as a European Project Manager in the Proposal Development department at CIMNE, where she supports proposal writing and manages research initiatives alongside her team. Dr. Mingorance has over five years of experience in promoting and managing research at national and European levels, spanning both public and private sectors. In addition to her academic career as a scientist, she has completed specialized training in Horizon Europe (HEU) framework program calls and has honed her skills in fostering collaboration among potential partners.
