📅 2-5 September 2025
The International Association of Computational Mechanics (IACM) and the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) organize this joint international congress in the field of computational plasticity and related topics.
Special emphasis will be given to the theoretical bases for the solution of nonlinear solid mechanics problems (involving plasticity and other material nonlinearities), and the numerical algorithms for an efficient and robust computer implementation.
COMPLAS 2025 is a Thematic Conference of ECCOMAS and a Special Interest Conference of IACM.
Plenary lectures will be delivered by scientists of international prestige including
Elias Cueto (Univesity of Zaragoza, Spain)
Laura de Lorenzis (ETH Zürich, Germany)
Samuel Forest (Ecole de Mines de Paris, France)
Dennis Kochman (ETH Zurich, Switzerland)
Rainald Lohner (George Mason University, USA)
Nicolas Moes (Nantes Université, France)
Anna Pandolfi (Politecnico di Milano, Italy)
Jean-Philippe Ponthot (University of Liège, Belgium)
