The Congress on Numerical Methods in Engineering (CMN 2013) took place in Bilbao from June 25^th to 28^th and its main aim was to act as a forum to collect relevant scientific and technical developments in the numerical methods and computational mechanics fields. CMN 2013, was jointly organized by the Spanish (SEMNI) and Portuguese (APMTAC) associations for numerical methods and was a meeting point for researchers and technicians of both countries and the Latin American community.

CIMNE Madrid presented a paper in the numerical methods in dam engineering session called  "Aplicación de métodos numéricos en hidráulica de presas para la optimización de sus orgranos de desagüe"
