📅 7-11 April 2025
📍 Auditori de Caputxins, Figueres, Spain
The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE), together with the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France), the Technical University of Catalonia-BarcelonaTech (UPC) and the support of Region Auvergne – Rhône -Alpes (France), and the Figueres City Council organize the Summer School in Reduced-Order and Data-Driven Models in Biomechanics.
Top experts will gather in the Catalan town of Figueres for a week to discuss state-of-the-art techniques such as:
0D and 1D models in cardiovascular blood flow modelling.
Inverse models and uncertainty quantification in cardiovascular biomechanics.
PINNs and constitutive model discovery for soft tissue
Non-intrusive reduced order modelling for surgical planning
The five-day programme will feature 18 lectures, 8 hands-on training sessions, and poster and student presentation sessions, as well as a welcome cocktail, a cultural activity and a social dinner.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work in dedicated sessions.
