The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE), together with the Spanish Association of Composite Materials (AEMAC), and the Technical University of Catalonia - BarcelonaTech (UPC) organize this specialized event.

Multidisciplinary experts will gather for two days in Barcelona to discuss the latest advances in composites and debate future applications and uses at the intersection of between industry and academia.

The event is chaired by experts from the UPC and CIMNE, while AEMAC members are also part of the organising committee. The scientific committee is composed of distinguished members of the industry and academia.

The CIMNE Congress Bureau leads the Conference Secretariat for the event.

The program will feature sessions from esteemed experts in the field:

	Dr. Carlos G. Davila Softening the Gap between Wöhler and Paris - New Concepts in Fatigue Analysis

AEMAC Awards

During MATCOMP25, the 9th prize for the best PhD thesis in the field of composite materials will be awarded. Two additional prizes will be awarded: the 1st Prize for the best Master's thesis, which aims to promote research among young people. And the 1st prize for the best professional and/or academic career of a woman, which aims to give visibility to women working in the field.
